In this episode, Kelly shares an excerpt from a conversation from one of her live coaching sessions.
Every human is inherently worthy!
This week's conversation is a reminder to each of us that we are loved, valuable & good. Recognizing our inherent worthiness creates guiding thoughts that move you towards a vibrant life, full of healthy love & acceptance of both self & others.
Main points:
- You are made on purpose for a purpose; you are good, loved, and valuable just for existing.
- As we interact with others during the holidays, it's essential to remember that everyone's experiences and interpretations can differ. As Mel Robbins would say- "Let them!"
- May Christmas be a time when our weary souls rejoice and rest.

I am cheering for you!
Hey friends, as we step into the week of Christmas, I wanted to share a little bit of one of the bonus sessions that I had in my coaching circle. Before I was life coach, I was a pastor and one of my favorite things to preach about at Christmas time was a line from the hymn, Oh Holy Night where it says- that through Christ, our soul felt its worth. Many of you probably grew up like I did in different religious practices that didn't always honor the fact that each of us are made in the image of God, that we are good. I thought I would just share this conversation that I had in one of my coaching bonus sessions and remind you that if no one's told you in a long time you are made on purpose for a purpose you are good You are loved and you are valuable just for breathing in and breathing out. So I hope this time serves you. Merry Christmas! Welcome to the Live a Vibrant Life podcast. I'm life coach Kelly Kibbitz, and each week I'll be here to encourage and equip you with the tools you need to grow in self awareness and invest your best energy in your dreams and your purpose. I believe self awareness changes everything. Let's get started. Welcome Hey friends. Every week you say Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and I shall be healed. Okay, so that comes from a scripture where Jesus is walking and a centurion comes up to him. And he knows that God can heal him. So he comes to jesus who has put on flesh and dwelt with us and says, you know I'm, not even worthy of you doing this, but I know if you say the word i'll be healed. I lead men and when I speak they do what I say I know that you're god and you lead the whole universe with your words. I'm not even worthy of this. You are God putting on flesh and dwelling with us. But if you say the word, I'll be healed. And I know this because I lead other people. And I know when I speak, they follow. Now, what has accidentally happened is this idea of the unworthiness of humans. That we are basically dirt. And God, the angry father, wants to demolish all of us. And so Jesus, the son, came in to keep the angry father from demolishing all of us. Now, the problem with that is Jesus said, I came to put on flesh to dwell with you and tell you the truth. My favorite metaphor of this is there's a story about a farmer and there's a big storm coming and he's trying to get the birds into the barn to keep them safe. But every time he goes near the birds, they get scared and they fly away. And he thinks, if I could only just be a bird and tell them there's a safe barn to come to. I think when God put him in flesh to dwell with us, it was like, I want you to not be afraid of me. I want you to know how much I love you. Now if you believe in the Bible, in the book of Genesis it says, God made people in God's image. Right? And I would use the word they. Their image. Father, Son, Spirit. I like the Creator, Word, Spirit. So God is the Creator, Jesus says I'm the Word, and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit that is the breath of life in us. Making them, people, male and female. It says that specifically in Genesis 1, male and female. Men are not made in God's image and women made from the rib. Equal. There is masculine&feminine energy in this creator of the universe. Made in the image of God. I think that's where we start this conversation with the Roman centurion in Jesus. You and I are made in the image of God. We have been growing in our understanding of our abundance and our loved nature, that's part of the growth that we've all experienced, right? Cathy Heller, Joe Dispenza, all kinds of different people have explained your innate value. I don't think that Roman Centurion was showing up and saying, I do not have any innate value. You don't even need to heal me. I'm dirt. He was saying, I understand your leadership, and if you speak, I'll be healed. I think the most important thing to come to when you are coming and asking for anything is your aligned truth of who you are. That is the starting place that I think somehow got missed or misrepresented. I don't even think intentionally. I think trying to teach all these things and by doing it a little bit haphazardly. You have people speaking, not necessarily connecting to the heart of God, but speaking from a place that gives them privilege or power. Here's just my thought on sin. So sin isn't is a term that we would best today connect to archery. My husband just got a dart board, so archery, darts, In archery throwing something and slightly missing the mark. Sin means when God created all of us in the image of Father, Son, Creator, Word, Spirit, perfect, right? The word in Hebrew is tov, t o v. That's who you are. You hold a baby and you know it, tov. Right? What happens along the way is we start to think things, feel things, and do things that are contrary to God's perfect will. That's what sin means. Thinking, feeling, and doing things contrary to God's perfect will. So I think God's perfect will is for everyone right now, the four of us, to truly believe that we're made in the image of God. One of my favorite things about Jesus is says, he's the same power that brought Jesus back from the dead lives in us. That's incredible power. This abundance, more than enoughness, is the perfect will of God for us to believe that, to feel that, and then act out of that. In general, every person we deal with over the holidays who's saying nasty things, Who's being unkind. Who's being disrespectful. At their core, they don't feel loved, known, seen, valued. And so they're acting out of that misalignment. So I would say original sin is simply because we are not in heaven and the presence of God, we're on earth, having a human experience. We think, feel, and do things that have sort of missed the mark of the truth of who we are. And that's the work we're actually doing. We're trying to remember who we are. That's what connects us to enthusiasm, joy. All the things I'm learning from Eckhart Tolle is so neat. Your actual real true self, This soul, those feelings of joy, love, peace, patience, kindness, those are you. That's really you. When you move away from remembering that, that's what sin, right, a word we've kind of made in to mean something different than it is. It's just you've forgotten. So original sin could be I forgot the truth of who I am, which brings you back right away to worthiness. Because, and, and as mothers, I know you get this because you see that in your children more than you see it in yourself. When you look at them, it's so easy to love and see their, like, aligned true selves. And then you see, like, oh, when they think that, they feel that, and then they do that. And they're missing the mark. They're doing something they shouldn't be doing. Feeling a feeling that they don't need to be feeling on repeat, right? So, what are you noticing as I share that about what sin is? Why it's so fun to do this together because we're all speaking the same language and we're all growing in the same way. And if we come together, we get to remind each other. That's what I really want this community to be a place where we can say, okay, I have this question. And the more you like, read into God's love in scripture, the more things like that stand out. Cause you're like, that doesn't feel connected and true. I wonder why. And then you get to be curious. And then usually from curiosity, because you're coming with this open and receptive heart, you're going to find your path over to truth. If our faith system is grounded in truth, why would God have sent Jesus to put on flesh and dwell with us? It said that he came to be perfect love, which is grace and truth, right? And so, he was coming not to be like, you all suck. Because that is not how he was when he was here. It was not all, everyone is terrible. It was like, I see the beauty in each of you. And you all think such different things. This one wants to be a zealot and overthrow the government. And this one is a tax collector and stealing from his own people. And this one is a fisherman and doesn't really even know a lot intellectually. But I see the beauty in each of you. That's what he was really doing here. And lots and lots of women. So that would be a great starting pace going into the holiday season. And I bet you're gonna be in connection with a bunch, bunch of people these next few weeks who are very different. And how we're hearing a word one way and you're hearing it differently is exactly the same with the words they speak, the words they think, the words you're thinking. That's very helpful for all of us to remember in every circumstance four of us hearing the same words and having four different experiences right now. And that's a really good reminder. What you've read and what you've learned and the time you've spent with yourself, what do you want to think about your worthiness? This is a powerful thought that needs to start today and be on repeat. What do you think about your worthiness? And before you make your decision for you, Make sure it's the same thought you would want any of your children to have. What do you want to think about your worthiness? That's your work"I'm worthy of love, respect, honor just for breathing in and breathing out". It's the most important work you'll do. I hope our time together encourage you and we'll equip you with the tools you need to move into the vibrant life you desire. I'm here to help you live a brave creative. Purpose filled life.
